A simple, proven order that works well for most jobs.
This is a recommended flow, not a rulebook — do the steps in whatever order suits your business. CreteGenie is flexible, so use what works for you.
The whole flow at a glance
The two gold steps are the money moments — where the customer signs and where they pay. Everything else sets those up.
1
Add the customer
Enter their name, phone, email, and address. You only do this once per customer.
Customers → Add Customer
2
Create the job
Start a job and pick the customer you just added (for example, “Backyard patio”). Everything else attaches to this job.
Jobs → Add Job
3
Show them the finished look optional · anytime
Snap a photo of the driveway or patio, outline the area, and pick the finish and color. Save the image to the job. You can do this at any point — but on site, before you quote, is where it wins the most jobs.
Visualizer
4
Build the estimate
Enter the size (or measure it from the map), add gravel, rebar, sealer, and set your markup. CreteGenie does the math. Save it to the job.
Estimator
5
Send the proposal
Turn the estimate into a branded proposal — with the visualization built in — and send it. The customer reviews, approves, and signs online. You get notified the moment they do.
From the job → Proposal
6
Schedule the pour
Pick the day and check the weather line so you don’t gamble on rain. Your crew can tap the pour to open the job.
Schedule
7
Do the work
On the job, take before/after photos and (crew) clock in. If the scope grows, send a change order they sign — so you get paid for every extra.
Open the job
8
Invoice & get paid
Create the invoice. Collect a deposit up front and the balance when the job’s done. Customers can pay online, or you record cash and checks.
From the job → Invoice
9
Ask for a review
One tap sends a happy customer to your review page. More reviews mean more leads find you.
From the job → Request Review
That’s the whole flow. Add customer → job → visualize → estimate → proposal → schedule → work → get paid → review. Run it the same way every time and nothing slips through the cracks.
