This Privacy Policy explains how CreteGenie ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CreteGenie platform and related services (the "Service"). We built the Service for concrete and construction contractors to manage estimates, proposals, scheduling, invoicing, and customer communication.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business or customer data for advertising.
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to protect against abuse and fraud. We do not use cookies to serve advertising or to track you across other websites.
If you choose to connect QuickBooks Online, you authorize the connection through Intuit's secure sign-in — we never see or store your QuickBooks password. With your authorization, we access only the QuickBooks company you select, and only to create or update records you ask us to sync (such as customers and invoices). We use this access solely to provide the sync features you enable, we do not sell or share QuickBooks data, and you can disconnect at any time from within the Service or from your QuickBooks account.
When you use the Visualizer or Render Lab, the photo you upload — which is typically a picture of your customer's property — together with the prompt describing the finish you want, is transmitted to our AI image-generation provider (fal.ai) so the render can be produced. The finished image is returned to us and stored in your workspace. We send only the photo and the prompt; we do not send your customer's name, address, or contact details along with it. If you prefer your renders to go through an account you control, you can add your own provider API key in Settings on any plan, in which case the request is billed to and governed by your own account with that provider. Please only upload photos you have the right to use.
We rely on trusted service providers to operate the Service. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function and is bound by its own terms and privacy commitments. As of the date above they are: fal.ai (AI image rendering — job-site photos and prompts), Stripe and PayPal (payment processing — billing and payment details), Twilio (SMS delivery — recipient phone numbers and message text), our email delivery provider (email addresses and message content), Intuit/QuickBooks (accounting sync, only if you connect it), Open-Meteo (weather for a job's location), ArcGIS and MapTiler (address lookup and maps), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on public forms), and our hosting provider. This list may change as the Service evolves; material changes will be reflected here.
We share information only: with service providers acting on our behalf; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your data, and you may disconnect third-party integrations at any time. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. Where required, our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate business interests in operating and securing the Service.
The Service is intended for businesses and their authorized adult users. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
